As the 4th of July weekend came to a close, Rehoboth Beach wasn’t done dancing — and neither was I.
After a powerful debut set Friday night for State of Independence, I was honored (and honestly a little shocked!) when the team at Diego’s Bar & Nightclub asked me to return and close out the weekend with one last set on Sunday night. The answer was an instant yes — and that’s how FERAL FREEDOM was born.
This was more than an encore. It was a descent — into sweat, rhythm, and raw queer energy.
🔥 The Vibe
From the first drop, the crowd was ready.
The air thick with heat and anticipation, lasers slicing through the fog, bodies pressed close — a dancefloor communion of sweat, connection, and desire.
We went deep. Dark. Primal.
It wasn’t polished. It wasn’t perfect.
It was real. Loud. Beautifully unhinged.
🎶 The Music
I dug into the shadows for this one — tribal drums, hypnotic house, sweaty techno, queer-coded anthems. Each track designed to pull the floor closer, to move the night from celebration to surrender.
The crowd gave everything — and I gave it right back.
🌈 The Thanks
To everyone who came out: thank you for trusting me with your final dance of the weekend.
To Diego’s: I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity and the love.
To the queens, the lovers, the night creatures, and Velvet Nation regulars who made it all feel bigger than music — this one was for you.
We didn’t close the weekend quietly.
We burned it down with grace and glitter.
And when the music finally faded… it left a mark.
