I’m not gonna beat around the bush here people. I am trying to build a bit of a name for myself with my music. I wanna be known for something other than my slutty adventures and chastity stories.
Don’t worry I’ll never stop posting about that kind of shit because it’s just too much fun!
But I once was respected for my musical talents as a DJ & a Producer. I was told by many that I was going somewhere and could have made a living doing this shit. But that was well over 10 years ago at this stage, and I haven’t done much but play a few fun gigs from time to time and once in a blue moon release a single.
With the Mad-Cow (read Let’s Sync Up – Summer 2023 for more details) I want to get back into making music, playing good Gigs, and just in general having fun with it.
During the Pandemic, I helped a really good friend of mine, Matt Yee (mattyee.com) produce a little online show that was much like the one he did on some of the world’s most popular cruise lines. And it was a fucking blast.
If You have time check out some of the shit we did on his Youtube Channel, there is some good stuff there. (https://www.youtube.com/@mattyeeshows/streams)
But what I am figuring out, is trying to perform, and run the production at the same time is SUPER FUCKING HARD. I honestly don’t know how folks like AMP from Watts the Safe Word do it.
My setup is far from professional, and if I keep doing this, I plan on doing a few small upgrades to make things “better”.
First of all, will be a second screen I can use to monitor the streaming session because having to switch between my DJ stack/workflow and the streaming studio software is not fun.
The next thing I wanna get is a streaming boy. That’s like a house boy but for streaming. Basically what I need is someone to help me run the production. This way I can focus on making the music and running the set.
This first streaming episode did not go perfectly, and there are a few mistakes in the recording I am not thrilled with, but the truth of the matter is unless I told you where my fucking train wrecks, the average person would never notice them. BUT I KNOW THERE, THERE. And my DJ music-type friends will also know and give me shit about it.
And as they should!
I’m trying something a bit new to see how it works, and it may not. But you will never know you can do something unless you try.
