“Alone” is a massive anthem. On a recent road trip to visit family, my husband had XM 80s-on-8 playing in the background. It’s funny how often you hear a track and think, “This needs to be remixed,” and that’s exactly what happened.
I just could not get the song out of my head all day. The next day I went into the studio and started laying down the foundation of this mix.
I truly feel like the mix is epic, so much I took it to my publisher to release it. The long story short, they felt the track was tooooo “gay” but my publishing manager took me aside and told me to release it.
I debuted it this past Saturday night during my set in the CODE ROOM at the Baltimore Eagle and the floor…just…went…fucking nuts. You could see the excitement in everyone’s eyes as so many relived moments from their past.
I really hope you love the track as much as I do.
